ESPN events which is a division of ESPN network has decided to sign a three-year partnership deal with the phone manufacturing company Cricket Wireless who are going to be the new Title sponsors for the MEAC/SWAC Challenge Kick off and Celebration Bowl. Both of these events take place in Atlanta and celebrate the tradition, legacy and values of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Due to the current pandemic situation, the early season matchups between different football teams were cancelled but will be resuming from 2021 to the delight of the fans who will be able to watch them through the live online watch parties.
Speaking about this new partnership, John Grant, executive director for the MEAC/SWAC Challenge Kick off and Celebration bowl said “We are delighted to have Cricket Wireless as the title sponsor of both our football kick off and bowl games,” said John Grant, executive director for the MEAC/SWAC Challenge Kick off and Celebration Bowl. “These events provide valuable diversity to the sports offerings in the city of Atlanta.
