Aditya ChaudhuriFormula One has announced that the Australian Grand Prix, which is held in Melbourne, will remain in the city until 2035, following a massive long-term deal. The partnership will also see the race join the Formula 2 and Formula 3 calendar for the first time since 2023.
Albert Park, which hosts the race in Melbourne, has been the venue since 1996, and with upgrades and investments having been made over the last couple of years, the circuit will see further updates to it with regards to improving fan experiences, facilities and the circuit itself.

“I am delighted to confirm that Melbourne and the Albert Park circuit will continue to be on the Formula 1 calendar until 2035. The 2022 Australian Grand Prix, which was the first race at the venue since 2019 due to the COVID pandemic, saw a record total of 419,000 fans at the track, which was the largest-ever recorded crowd for a sporting event in Australia.
