Olympian to become the face of the company’s awareness program.

Plant-based meat company GoodDot has signed Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra as its brand ambassador. Chopra will be headlining the company’s mission of creating awareness about its new category of plant-based meats and help people make a healthier and more compassionate food choice. Through the partnership, GoodDot hopes to send out the message of how small changes in one’s lifestyle and food choice can play a big role in making the world a better place.

The Udaipur-based company was founded in 2016 with the goal of providing people with an alternative to meat that would be ethically and sustainably produced. GoodDot currently boasts of products such as Vegetarian Bytz, Proteiz, UnMutton Keema, Vegicken Curry, Eggless Bhurji, and more. GoodDot currently provides alternatives to mutton, chicken, egg, and will soon launch fish alternatives, too.

Abhishek Sinha, Co-founder and CEO, GoodDot, commented:

Team GoodDot is proud to welcome Neeraj Chopra to our shared mission to make the world a more compassionate place. The perfect combination of hard work, ability, and a deep sense of purpose is what sets Neeraj apart as he blazed a glorious trail for India at the Olympics. These are the same traits that team GoodDot shares as it blazes a trail in putting India on the world map of the plant-based meat revolution. Neeraj will help us firmly put the category and the brand in the minds of the Indian consumer.

Neeraj Chopra added:
I am excited to join hands with GoodDot and lend my voice to their mission of creating awareness about a more compassionate world. I have tried their range of plant-based meat alternatives personally and I think it is wonderful that a home-grown company is making such a credible mark in this global movement that I look forward to being part of.
