South Korean automotive brand Hyundai entered the Indian market almost 20 years ago with its hatchback model – Santro. To attract more and more people towards this perfect family car, Hyundai roped in Shah Rukh Khan as its brand ambassador in India. Together the two made Santro one of the most popular cars in India. Their partnership has continued successfully for over two decades. Not many brands have been able to stay with one brand ambassador for such a long time.
Last week, Hyundai launched a new variant of Santro. Being the chief endorser of the brand, SRK was there to grace the occasion with his presence. I am inspired by the Technology and Innovation Hyundai has brought to India. “
Though SRK hasn’t done a proper ad film for Hyundai in a long time, he is often seen promoting it at various events. SRK even wishes all Hyundai customers on important days and festival across the year. His last big campaign with Hyundai was #BeTheBetterGuy which encouraged people to wear seat belts while driving.
The association that began with Santro went on to other car models like Elantra, Creta, i10, and Xcent. Now with the launch of the all-new Santro, it has completed a full circle. Many congratulations to both Hyundai and SRK on the success of this alliance.
