Morecambe FC partner with Tyson Fury for upcoming campaign

Tyson Fury will sponsor EFL League One side Morecambe FC for the upcoming 2022-23 season. The British boxer has been living in Morecambe for the past few years and is now strengthening his connection with the town’s local football team.

The English third-tier side have revealed that Tyson’s brand, Gypsy King, will feature on both the home and away playing shorts for the club throughout the 2022-23 season.

A further announcement is anticipated at a later date, which will see “The Gypsy King” extend his partnership with the Shrimps even further.

Commenting on the deal, Head of Commercial at Morecambe FC, Martin Thomas, said: 

“We have a great relationship with Tyson and are proud to wear his Gypsy King brand on the first-team shorts for the forthcoming campaign.

“Tyson is a fantastic ambassador for the Morecambe area and it’s fantastic to have him onboard. Tyson is one of the most recognisable names in the world of sport, and will bring worldwide recognition Club.

“He will join a ever-growing list of commercial partners, alongside both local and national brands as well as local businesses the Club have signed in recent seasons. We now have a huge reach across the globe, with further presence on a worldwide stage due to this partnership.”

Two-time Heavyweight Champion of the world Tyson Fury added: 

“I love the Morecambe area and it is a pleasure to be able to support my local club.”
