Nissan announced as Official Sponsor of the Men’s T20 World Cup

Nissan Magnite will be the official car of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.

 

Nissan announced on Wednesday that the brand has become the official sponsor of the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which is scheduled to be held later this year in October.

The automobile manufacturer also announced that its latest car, the ‘Nissan Magnite’, will be the official car of the tournament. The car will be displayed at all the venues where the matches will take place and as one of the most watched tournaments around the globe, Nissan will use this opportunity to gain worldwide viewership for its latest product.

 

Speaking about the partnership, Nissan Motor India President, Sinan Ozkok, said:

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is one India looks forward to, Nissan India is proud that ‘Make in India, Make for the World SUV – Nissan Magnite is the Official car of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. In these challenging times, we are hopeful that the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will bring aspiration, excitement, and entertainment for everyone.

Nissan India has already partnered with Indian World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev, with whom the company launched an integrated awareness and safety campaign. The former India captain will be promoting the Virtual Trophy Tour of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup through Instagram’s AR filters which will give the fans an opportunity to get a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The T20 World Cup gets underway from October 17 and will go on till November 14, with the tournament taking place entirely in the UAE and Oman after being shifted out of the original host country, India, due to COVID scare.
