Salman Khan’s Career Endorsements

The Bollywood actor Salman Khan is one of the highest-paid stars in the film industry. In 2020, his net worth is estimated to be approximately $230 million. He earns about $3 million a year just from advertising and endorsements. A report in a leading daily revealed that Salman Khan charges around $1 million per day for a brand shoot, which puts him amongst the highest-paid brand endorsement celebrities in the Bollywood industry. Let us look at his career endorsements:

Thums Up -Salman Khan was roped in by Coco-Cola as the face of its high-carbonation, macho drink Thums Up in early 2002. The company dropped him as its brand ambassador after he was convicted of a hit and run case in the same year. Coco-Cola brought him back in 2012, only to drop him again in 2016. A younger actor, Ranveer Singh, replaced him.

Goldiee Masale – Salman Khan was roped in as the brand ambassador of Goldiee Masale in Januray 2019.

Revital – Revital, an energy capsule, signed Salman Khan as its brand ambassador in 2012 when it was a Ranbaxy brand.

Relaxo – Relaxo signed Salman Khan as brand ambassador for its slipper brand Hawaii in 2012.

Dixcy Scott – Salman Khan endorses Dixcy Textiles and parent company of men’s innerwear brand Dixcy Scott. He is the brand ambassador of the company.

Wheel – Salman Khan was the brand ambassador of Wheel. He was seen in various Wheel commercials with actresses like Prachi Desai and Aamna Sharif.

Britannia Tiger Biscuit – Britannia Industries roped in Salman Khan to endorse its range of ‘Tiger’ brand of biscuits in 2013.

Mountain Dew – Mountain Dew was the second soft drink promoted by Salman Khan. He has done many ads for the  “Darr ke aage jeet hai” campaign.

Suzuki Motorcycles – Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) signed Salman Khan as its brand ambassador in 2013.

Chloromint –  Salman Khan was the brand ambassador of the Mint Candy Chlormint. He has done many advertisements for the product.

Realme – Chinese smartphone maker Realme roped in Salman Khan as its brand ambassador in February 2020. The actor is endorsing the brand’s Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro devices.

BharatPe – BharatPe, merchant service, and UPI payments app, signed in Salman Khan as its brand ambassador in 2019.

Somany Ceramics – Somany Ceramics, a decor solutions provider, roped in Salman Khan as its brand ambassador in 2019.

PepsiCo – The former brand ambassador of Thums Up, Salman Khan became the Pepsi brand ambassador in 2019.

Emami – Salman Khan has endorsed Emami’s Fair and Handsome, Navratan Oil, Rasoi, Bake Magic, and Himani Best Choice Refined Oil.

CP Plus – CP Plus, security, and surveillance brand, signed up Salman Khan as its CCTV ambassador in 2017.

Image Eyewear – Salman Khan was Image Eyewear’s brand ambassador.

Appy Fizz – Parle Agro signed Salman Khan for its Appy Fizz campaign in 2018.

PNG Jewellers – PNG Jewellers roped in Salman Khan as its brand ambassador in 2015.

Yellow Diamond – Yellow Diamond, a snack maker and the flagship brand of Prataap Snacks, roped in Salman Khan as its brand ambassador in 2016.

Splash – Splash, a Dubai based fashion label, signed Salman Khan as its brand ambassador in 2013.

Limca – Salman Khan is best known for his long-standing association with Thums Up. However, long before the ‘toofani’ drink appeared on the horizon, the actor advertised for Limca in 1985.

Campa Cola – Salman Khan endorsed the brand Campa Cola in 1983.

Graviera Suiting’s – Salman Khan was featured in Aditya Birla Group’s textile arm, Graviera Suiting’s advertisement.

Yatra.com – Yatra.com signed in Salman Khan as its brand ambassador in 2012.

Hero Honda – Salman Khan endorsed Hero Honda’s CD100 in the 1980s.

Force Motors – Force Motors, a commercial automobile maker, signed Salman Khan and his brother Sohail Khan as its brand ambassador in 2010.

Lakhani – Lakhani, a footwear brand, was endorsed by Salman Khan.

Raza.com – Salman Khan was seen in Raza.com’s ad commercials.

Sangini Diamond Jewellery – Salman Khan was seen in Sangini Diamond Jewellery’s ad commercials with Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor.

Red Tape – Salman Khan was signed as the new brand ambassador for Red Tape shoes, the footwear brand of Mirza Tanners Limited, in 2004.

Double Bull shirts – Salman Khan was seen in the print ads of Double Bull shirts in 1989.

History Channel – Salman Khan, is the face of History Channel.

BlackBerry Playbook – Salman Khan was seen promoting the BlackBerry Playbook tablet in 2011.

Rotomac Pen – Salman Khan was signed in as the brand ambassador of the Rotomac Pen in 2011.

SF Sonic Batteries – Salman Khan was also seen in SF Sonic Batteries’ ad commercials in 2011.

Astral Pipes – Salman Khan is the brand ambassador of Astral Poly Technik Ltd, the leading manufacturers of plumbing and drainage systems.

Bombay Municipal Corporation – Salman Khan is the brand ambassador of civic body Bombay Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) drive against open defecation in Mumbai.

2016 Summer Olympic – Salman Khan was the brand ambassador of the 2016 Summer Olympic.

Star Sports – Salman Khan was seen in the Mauka Mauka Star Sports ad commercial in 2015.

FRSH Deodorants – Salman Khan has featured in multiple ads for this brand spread across different mediums.

Being Human – Salman is both an investor and endorser of Being Human Clothing.

Being Strong Fitness Equipment – In 2018, Salman Khan introduced a Gym equipment range under the brand name Being Strong Fitness Equipment.
