SCOTLAND MEN’S NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM SPONSORS

Here are the sponsors for the Scotland Men’s National Football Team ahead of the Euros next summer.

Name of the Football Association – Scottish Football Association (SFA)


Adidas – The German sportswear giant has been the official kit supplier to SFA’s teams since 2010, when it replaced fellow Italian rival Diadora. The SFA and Adidas last renewed their partnership in August 2018. It’s currently set to run until the end of 2022.


Thrifty – Owned by the Hertz Corporation, car rental firm Thrifty also serves as an official partner to the SFA. The partnership sees Thrifty offer exclusive discounts to the supporters of Scotland’s national teams. Thrifty also holds branding rights across SFA’s physical and digital assets.


Erasmus+ – EU’s education and development programme Erasmus+ has been an official partner of the SFA for over ten years. The SFA has received continual backing and funding from the programme to bolster their football workforce. In turn, Erasmus+ holds branding rights across SFA’s physical and digital assets. The two parties will continue working together until Brexit is finalised, unless the SFA is able to strike a new,exceptional deal.


BT – The London-headquartered British telecom holding company is the exclusive lead partner of the SFA since October 2019. The sponsorship is an effort to promote and enhance the quality of football in the UK right from the grassroots level. BT also enjoys branding exposure across SFA’s physical and digital assets, most notably as the front-of-shirt sponsor for the training kits of all of SFA’s national teams.


Diageo – The London-based alcoholic beverages producer serves as an official partner to the SFA since September 2018. As per the partnership, the two parties work together to raise awareness regarding the negative effects of alcohol and promote a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Diageo also holds branding rights across SFA’s physical and digital assets.


JD Sports – The Bury-headquartered sports retail company also serves as an official partner to the SFA. The partnership sees JD hold exclusive selling rights for SFA-branded merchandise across its UK and online stores. JD also holds branding rights across SFA’s physical and digital assets.


Snickers – The partnership between Virginia-based confectionary company Mars Wrigley and the SFA has existed since 2011. Via its chocolate brand Snickers, Mars Wrigley works with the SFA to promote grassroots football in Scotland. Snickers also holds branding rights across SFA’s physical and digital assets. In June 2019, the SFA and Mars Wrigley extended their partnership to also include the Scotland Women’s and Para-Football teams, as an attempt to increase inclusion and diversity within the Scottish game. The deal is currently set to run until the 2022 FIFA Men’s World Cup in Qatar.


Nationwide Building Society – Swindon-based mutual financial institution Nationwide Building Society became an official partner of the SFA earlier this year in August.The partnership is focused on supporting the SFA’s Positive Play campaign, which aims to promote a positive and inclusive communal learning experience for everyone via football right from the grassroots level. Nationwide also holds branding rights across SFA’s physical and digital assets.


McDonald’s – The American fast-food giant has been an official partner of the SFA since 2002. As per the partnership, the two parties have and continue to work on several grassroots initiatives. McDonald’s also holds branding rights across SFA’s physical and digital assets. McDonald’s last extended its deal with the SFA in August 2018. It’s currently set to run until 2022.


IMG – The Amsterdam-headquartered financial also serves as an official partner to the SFA. The partnership grants IMG branding rights across SFA’s physical and digital assets.


Soccer Supplement – The London-based nutrition products manufacturer and supplier became the official nutrition partner of the Scotland Men’s and Women’s National Football Teams in a two-year deal earlier this year in August. As per the deal, Soccer Supplement supplies its products to the teams’ players and works with the medical staff to enhance player performance by creating custom-made products for each player’s nutritional needs. The company also holds branding rights across the teams’ physical and digital assets.
