May 18, 2023

Skyesports, a leading esports tournament organiser in India and south Asia, is bringing the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, the last Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) Major with a US$1.25m prize pool, to the masses.

Skyesports and BLAST have announced that the former has secured the exclusive Hindi-language broadcasting rights for the tournament, and will be broadcasting the Champions Stage to the Indian audience.

The BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 is taking place from May 8 to 21, 2023, in the French capital. 24 of the world’s top Counter-Strike teams are fighting to earn the historic title of champions in CS:GO’s last Major and for a share of the US$1.25m prize pool.

The Champions Stage of the BLAST.tv Paris Major will happen from May 18 to 21 at the Hall de la Pinède. The eight remaining teams will battle it out in a single-elimination bracket to determine the champions. All matches will be a best-of-three series. Skyesports will be broadcasting it live on its official YouTube and Twitch channels in Hindi. Indian fans will be able to tune in to all the explosive action live to witness a CS:GO Major team being crowned champions one last time.

The Hindi-language talent lineup for the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 includes Lucifer, Euphoria, and SenorMamba.

Shiva Nandy, Founder and CEO, Skyesports, commented:

We are thrilled to be the exclusive Hindi broadcasting rights holders for the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. With our experienced talent lineup, we look forward to bringing the action to life in Hindi for all our viewers in the country. As we usher in a revival for Counter-Strike in India, this partnership is a major step in that direction and serves as a great prelude to our upcoming Skyesports Masters in Mumbai.

The BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 will be the last CS:GO major marking the end of a 10+ year legacy for Valve’s first-person shooter. Valve has already pulled the curtains on Counter-Strike 2, which will be the game in the next Major in 2024.

Hailing from the City of Joy, the things that bring me joy are cricket, a good non-tilt CS:GO session, F1 and movies.
