Sponsorship Deals of Miami Heat

The Miami Heat, an American professional basketball team based in Miami, Florida, competes in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member club of the league’s Southeast Division in the Eastern Conference. According to Forbes 2020, the team is the twelfth most valuable franchise in the NBA, having an estimated $1.95 billion value.

Let us look at the team’s sponsors. 

American Airlines Group – American Airlines Group is the official airline partner of the Miami Heat. The company was also the naming rights partner since 1999 that expired in December 2019.

American Express – American Express is the official card partner of the Miami Heat.

Bacardi – Bacardi is the corporate partner of the Miami Heat. The company has been seen promoting Grey Goose vodka, Dewar’s scotch, and Bacardi rums within the American Airlines stadium.

Baptist Health – Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute, Baptist Health, is one of the sponsors of the Miami Heat.

Carnival – Carnival Corp, the cruise ship operator is a corporate sponsor of the Miami Heat. The team’s owner Micky Arison was also the CEO of the cruise company from 1979 to 2013.

Comcast – Comcast Cable, an internet and phone service provider is associated with the Miami Heat. The duo teamed up this year to create a platform for providing internet services to the families of children to enable them to be a part of virtual classes in the times of the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

FedEx – FedEx is a corporate partner of the Miami Heat.

Kia – Kia Motors is the official and exclusive vehicle of the Miami HEAT since 2007 across all the vehicle categories. 

Toyota – Lexus, a luxury vehicle division of Toyota, is the Miami Heat’s corporate sponsor.

PepsiCo – PepsiCo is the official sponsor of the Miami Heat. 

Ultimate Software Group – Ultimate Software, the human management company signed a three-year deal to become the first uniform- patch sponsor of the Miami Heat in 2017. The company has been associated with the team for twenty-seven years. 

Nike – Nike is the official jersey sponsor of the Miami Heat.

Pollo Tropical – Pollo Operations, Inc., a subsidiary of Fiesta Restaurant Group, Inc., is the official partner of the Miami Heat. The three-year deal was signed this year in February 2020.  

REEF Technology – REEF Technology partnered with the Miami Heat in February 2020 to facilitate the distribution of unserved food from the American Airlines arena to food banks and homeless shelters in the South Florida region.

Wynwood Brewing Co. – Wynwood Brewing Co. is the official craft beer of the Miami Heat. They three years partnership deal was signed in December 2019. 

Miccosukee Resort and Gaming – Miccosukee hotel is the official sponsor of the Miami Heat.

Feeding America and Lineage Logistics – Feeding America and Lineage Logistics partnered with the Miami Heat to launch the “Share a Meal” campaign in March 2020. The campaign aimed to provide 100 million meals to people affected by COVID-19.

Geico – The Miami Heat has been seen promoting an American insurance company, Geico, on its social media platforms.

Fox Sports Sun – Fox Sports Sun is the official television partner of the Miami Heat.

790 The Ticket and Univision Radio are the official radio partners of the Miami Heat.

In the past, Miami Heat has been associated with Misfits Gaming (2017), Dell’s gaming-hardware subsidiary, Alienware (2018), JBL’s parent company Harman (2018), and Tabañero (2018).
