Sponsorship Deals of Oklahoma City Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder (OKC), an American professional basketball team based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, competes in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member club of the league’s Northwest Division of the Western Conference. According to Forbes 2020, the team is the twentieth most valuable franchise in the NBA, having an estimated $1.575 billion value.

Let us look at the team’s sponsors.

Chesapeake Energy – Chesapeake Energy Corporation is the naming rights partner of the OKC. The twelve-year deal was signed in 2011. The Chesapeake Energy Arena is home to the team.

Coca-Cola Co. – Coca-Cola Co. has had a multiyear partnership with the OKC since 2009.

Devon Energy – Devon Energy Corporation, an energy company engaged in hydrocarbon exploration, is the corporate sponsor of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores – Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, a convenience store, is the OKC’s official jersey patch partner since 2019.

Paycom – Paycom is the corporate sponsor of the OKC since 2018.

Riverwind Casino – Riverwind Casino has been the corporate partner of the Oklahoma City Thunder since 2009.

Homeland Stores– Homeland stores, a grocery and pharmacy company, has its association with OKC since 2008. The company is the official grocery partner of the team. The partnership was renewed in 2019.

MidFirst Bank – MidFirst Bank is the corporate partner of the OKC. The bank’s Chairman and CEO, G. Jeffrey Records Jr., is a part-owner of the team.

OU Medicine – OU Medicine partnered with the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2018 to become the team’s official healthcare partner for ten years.

Enable Midstream Partners – Enable Midstream Partners, a subsidiary of CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp., is a corporate partner of the OKC.

Anheuser-Busch – Anheuser-Busch is the corporate partner of the OKC.

Continental Resources – Continental Resources, American petroleum and natural gas production company, has been the OKC’s corporate partner since 2014.

Fox Sports Oklahoma – Fox Sports Oklahoma is the official television partner of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

WWLS 98.1 FM – WWLS 98.1 FM is the official radio partner of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

In the past, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been associated with Newcastle Gaming Center (2010), Dobson Technologies (2015), Uber (2016), KultureCity, Zaxby (2017), Jim Thorpe Museum, Satisfi Labs, Levy Restaurants, and SAVOR.
