Here are the sponsors for this year’s UEFA Euro 2020 which is set to be held across eleven European countries (Azerbaijan, Denmark, England, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Scotland, Spain) from 11 June – 11 July 2021.
Alipay – Jack Ma’s Shanghai-headquartered online payment platform signed an eight-year deal with UEFA in November 2018 to kick off a global partnership. The deal will cover the 2020 and 2024 men’s Euros as well as the UEFA Nations League finals. Alipay also serves as UEFA’s official global digital wallet provider and the organisation’s official global FinTech partner. The deal is aimed at providing seamless on-site services and unique digital experiences.
Booking.com – In October 2017, Amsterdam-headquartered Dutch online travel agency, Booking.com, became UEFA’s Official Accommodation and Attractions Booking Partner for all of its national team competitions until 2022.
Coca-Cola – The American beverage giant was announced as the official non-alcoholic beverage sponsor of the 2020 Euros in September 2019, cementing a golden opportunity to secure brand exposure across the eleven countries hosting the tournament. Coca-Cola’s overall association with UEFA dates back to 1988.
FedEx Express – The Memphis-headquartered American delivery services company signed a four-year, multi-tournament deal with UEFA in April 2019, making it the Official Logistics Partner of the UEFA Euro 2020. FedEx aims to gain brand exposure via in-stadium branding, ticketing, hospitality and other exclusive programmes. It will also provide logistics support towards organising the whole tournament across 11 countries.
Gazprom – When the Moscow-headquartered, state-owned Russian energy giant renewed its long-standing deal with European football governing body in May 2021, it expanded its coverage to also include UEFA’s national team competitions. Apart from the Champions League, Gazprom is now set to sponsor the 2020 and 2024 men’s Euros as well as the 2021 and 2023 Nations League finals.
Heineken – The Dutch beer brand became the Official Beer Partner of UEFA Euro 2020 when it renewed its long-standing agreement with UEFA – which goes back more than 25 years – in November 2019. The deal includes pouring rights across the tournament’s official venues, opportunity for unique experiences, as well as branding rights across UEFA’s physical and digital assets.
Hisense – The Qingdao-headquartered Chinese electronics brand became a Global Partner of the UEFA Euro 2020 in April 2019. In June 2020, apart from marketing campaigns, Hisense also worked with UEFA to make UEFA.tv available across its Smart TVs.
Qatar Airways – Qatar’s Doha-headquartered, state-owned flag carrier became the Official Airline of the imminent men’s Euros in February 2021. The deal entails digital and in-stadium branding rights for the airline.
Just Eat Takeaway.com – The Amsterdam-headquartered British-Dutch online food delivery platform became the tournament’s Official Food Delivery Services Provider in November 2019.In March 2021, Takeaway expanded on its deal with UEFA to also covers its major club competitions during the 2021-24 cycle, including Champions League, Europa League, Europa Conference League, the Super Cup, the Futsal Champions League and the UEFA Youth League.For women’s football, the two signed a separate deal to run until 2025 which made Takeaway a UEFA Women’s Football partner and cover UEFA’s Together #WePlayStrong programme along with the women’s Champions League, Euros, Futsal Euro and the European Women’s Under-19 and U17 Championships.
TikTok – The Chinese video-sharing social networking app became a global sponsor of the flagship national tournament in February 2021. The deal entails the two parties creating co-branded content while also granting TikTok access to UEFA’s video archives. TikTok will enjoy broadcast sponsorship rights, with UEFA also launching a dedicated Euro 2020 account on the app.
Vivo – The Dongguan-headquartered Chinese tech company signed a sponsorship deal with UEFA in October 2020, making it the official smartphone provider for the 2020 and 2024 men’s Euros.
Volkswagen – In August 2017, it was announced that German automaker Volkswagen would be replacing Hyundai as the Official Mobility Partner of UEFA’s international tournaments. In the upcoming Euros, the Wolfsburg-headquartered company will be promoting its new e-mobility range.
