Swiss Formula One team Alfa Romeo have extended their partnership with air company Edelweiss, which will see the Swiss air firm continue on as the Official Airline Supplier of the F1 team.
The partnership, which kicked off in 2021, will continue into its third year following the agreement and will see the Edelweiss logo feature on the Alfa Romeo race car’s floorline.
Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Team Representative of Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake, commented:
“We are pleased to be extending our partnership with Edelweiss following two successful seasons together. As Switzerland’s leading leisure airline, Edelweiss puts great focus on ensuring their passengers enjoy the best possible experience aboard their flights, while proudly representing Swiss quality and efficiency around the world. Edelweiss is keen on following a socially and environmentally responsible conduct – a vision that resonates with that of Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake and of the Sauber Group altogether. We are delighted to be flying even higher together this year, as we aim for success in the 2023 Formula One World Championship.“
Patrick Heymann, Chief Commercial Officer of Edelweiss, said:
“I am extremely pleased and proud that Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake has again placed their trust in us this year, as we fly with them to the exclusive destinations of the Formula One calendar, while paying great attention to a sustainable development of air travel – in perfect alignment with the team’s own sustainability goals. We are looking forward to continuing this journey together, aiming even higher than before.“
