ATLÉTICO DE MADRID EXTENDS PARTNERSHIP WITH RIA MONEY TRANSFER

New deal set to run until the end of the 2023-24 season.

Atlético de Madrid have extended their sponsorship deal with California-based money remittances specialist Ria Money Transfer.

With the one-year extension, Ria will continue to be the back-of-shirt sponsor for Atlético’s matchday shirts for their domestic competitions until the end of the 2023-24 season. The partnership was originally sealed in November 2019.

To mark the extension, Ria and Atlético posted a special video featuring the Colchoneros’ first-team players, showing the importance of being able to send money to your far-away loved ones.

Commenting on the extension, Juan Bianchi, CEO of Ria’s parent company Euronet’s Money Transfer Segment, said:

“Ria is forged on teamwork, passion, commitment and the improvement of people’s lives. We recognized all those attributes in Atlético de Madrid when we began this journey together and we’re delighted to be building on those shared values through the extension of our partnership. Being Atlético’s official sponsor and money transfer partner supports and complements Ria’s worldwide brand awareness intentions perfectly and enables us to stay connected to our millions of customers around the world through the global passion that is football.”

Atlético Madrid are currently top of LaLiga Santander, three points clear off second-placed local rivals Real Madrid with a game in hand.
