BIG ink Coinbase partnership

German esports organisation Berlin International Gaming (BIG) have announced cryptocurrency platform Coinbase as the Main Partner for their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team.

The partnership will see Coinbase replace Betway as the front-of-shirt sponsor of the team. Additionally, both parties will work on various activations, including fan engagement activities, community events and tournaments.

The partnership extends the agreement that was signed between BIG and Coinbase first in 2021, which saw Coinbase serve as a partner of BIG’s CS:GO team.

Daniel Finkler, BIG’s CEO, commented:

The financial scope of the partnership demonstrates that the acquisition of the BLAST Premier and ESL Pro League Partner slots in 2021 proved to be the best decision we could have made. Together with Coinbase, we will compete in the largest and most prestigious esports competitions globally.
