Carlos Sainz launches new apparel range along with New Era named TEAM FIFTY5

Formula One driver Carlos Sainz has joined forces with global apparel brand New Era to launch his headwear and apparel collection named TEAM FIFTY5. The collection is shaped by Sainz’s personal style and launches with a Fall/Holiday collection that brings together motorsport influences with a refined, everyday aesthetic including European heritage.

The collection includes New Era headwear, hoodies and T-shirts, the refined palette of outdoor green, off-white, white, faded blue and red, with selected designs featuring direct embroidery and woven featuring the red chili pepper, a nod to Sainz’s “Chili” nickname.

Carlos Sainz, Founder, TEAM FIFTY5, commented,

“TEAM FIFTY5 is part of who I am since the beginning of my career. Together with my personal team and with my fans we have built a community of shared experiences and values, and it’s time to expand it, at the track and beyond. With this collection, we wanted to create something that feels authentic to that identity but can be worn every day. New Era understands the connection between sport, culture and personal style, and I’m proud of what we have created together.”

Patrik Söderström, New Era VP EMEA, said,

“TEAM FIFTY5 represents a natural meeting point between elite motorsport and contemporary lifestyle. Working closely with Carlos and his team, we have created a collection that feels personal and distinctive while remaining true to New Era’s heritage in headwear, sport and culture.”
