One of the best goalkeepers in the world is David de Gea has been giving fantastic performances week in week out for Manchester United and will be looking to have a successful 10th season with his club. Even after facing a lot of criticism last year for some of his mistakes on the pitch, he has defied all the critics and given some good displays again in recent weeks. Born in Madrid, he had risen from the Academy ranks of Spanish side Atletico Madrid and made his debut at just 18 years of age. He also helped the club win the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup in 2010. He finally managed to get in the eye of Sir Alex Ferguson and got signed by him in 2011 for the Red Devils. Criticism is nothing new for the Spanish Goalkeeper as he was a victim to it in his first season with United, as well as he had to fill the massive shoes of Edvin Van Der Sar, who had just retired. Despite all of the pressure, he managed to get into the good books of the manager, especially the fans, by putting in the hard work and giving some impressive performances for the team. Let us now take a look at the Spaniard’s brand associations so far:

Adidas – The Spaniard had to wait a while before getting signed by German sporting brand Adidas but finally got his contract in 2015, which is the same year, he had signed his new long-term contract with Man United.

PepsiCo – David de Gea also has a sponsorship deal with PepsiCo and is often seen doing endorsements for the company.
