Gujarat Titans unveil team logo in the metaverse

IPL’s latest team launch team logo on Spatial.io.

One of the Indian Premier League’s newest franchises, the Gujarat Titans have unveiled their team logo in the metaverse on Spatial.io, becoming the first-ever Indian team to launch their logo in the metaverse.
At the Titans logo launch, team captain Hardik Pandya, batter Shubman Gill and head coach Ashish Nehra were present, interacting from The Titans Dugout in the metaverse. The team announced that the Dugout will be a space where the players and the fans could meet and interact ‘seamlessly’ like never before.
The logo takes inspiration from the shape of a kite with the goal of flying high and scaling new heights as they start their Indian Premier League journey. The kite is also symbolic as it connects with one of Gujarat’s cultural heritage – the Uttarayan festival. The team have stated that the logo reflects on what their foundation is built upon – the rich cultural heritage and legacy of the state.
The Gujarat Titans, along with the Lucknow Super Giants, are set to debut this year in the Indian Premier League. Led by Hardik Pandya, the team recently announced Ather Energy as their Title Sponsor. The deal was brokered by RISE Worldwide, which is serving as the team’s exclusive sponsorship agency.
