Kimi Räikkönen’s son joins the Red Bull Junior Team

Former Formula One champion Kimi Räikkönen’s son, Robin Räikkönen has joined the Red Bull Junior Team, becoming the latest member of the Red Bull driver development programme. Robin Räikkönen, who is currently 11 years old, will join the Red Bull Junior Team from 2027 to further enhance his racing career. Robin Räikkönen is already an active karting member and has achieved success internationally and domestically at the Rotax and WSK championships.

Robin’s father Kimi Räikkönen, who won the Formula One 2007 championship, has previously been a part of the Red Bull team, having raced for the Red Bull sponsored Citroën C4 WRC at the World Rally Championship in 2010.

Kimi Räikkönen, Robin Räikkönen’s father, said,

It is thus with great humility that Robin joins this illustrious programme, and he will dedicate all his efforts to warrant the trust that Red Bull is placing in him.”
