McLaren ink VMware partnership

Formula One team McLaren have announced a new multi-year partnership with leading provider of multi-cloud services for apps, VMware. VMware will be joining the team as an Official Partner.
VMware will help McLaren manage, protect, deliver and connect cloud-based apps which the team use on track and at the McLaren Technology Centre. The team will also use VMware tech to power app optimisation across various clouds, deliver reliable connectivity and provide the best user experiences across devices. VMware branding will also be visible on the McLaren race cars and race suits of the McLaren drivers from the French Grand Prix 2022.

Matt Dennington, Director of Partnerships, McLaren Racing, commented:
