Brand Endorsement Deals 

2K Sports

2K Sports, a California-based video game publisher founded in 2005, roped in the LA Clippers’ shooting guard as the face of its NBA2K16 game in September 2015.

Since then, George has featured in several covers of the NBA2K games. 

American Express

American Express (Amex), an American bank holding company and multinational financial services corporation, announced the signing of a multi-year partnership deal with the NBA in December 2021.

As part of the deal, Amex also roped in George as the face of the “American Express x NBA 2K22” activation. 

AT&T 

George has been acting as an official brand ambassador of AT&T, an American multinational telecommunications holding company, since February 2015. 

Following the commencement of the deal, in April 2015, AT&T launched the TV commercial titled “Spot”, which featured George in the lead. 

Gatorade 

Shortly after signing his five-year contract with the Indiana Pacers, in March 2014, George and Gatorade announced a multi-year partnership agreement, which made the former a brand ambassador of the latter.

As per reports, the PepsiCo-owned brand roped in George for its “Fierce” line of drinks at the time. 

Nike 

American athletic footwear and apparel corporation Nike has been sponsoring George since January 2017.

Nike has in place a signature shoes and apparel deal with George, having launched the Nike PG1 as the very-first edition of the collaboration. 

RECUR 

RECUR, a premier Web3 software platform offering all the tools a business needs to integrate Web3 into its operations, roped in George as a brand ambassador in 2023. 

Teladoc Health 

Teladoc Health, a US-based multinational telemedicine and virtual healthcare company, has had a sponsorship agreement in place with Paul George since mid-2023.

The New Era Cap Company

The Buffalo-based American headwear company signed a multi-year partnership agreement with George in January 2015, roping him in as a brand ambassador.

Following the announcement of the deal, in February 2015, New Era launched the designs for the new “Paul George Cap Collection”, which consisted of eight variants. 

Bass Pro Shops 

Bass Pro Shops, an American privately-held sporting goods retailer, has been sponsoring George since late 2015.

Although the exact details of a contract renewal between the two parties haven’t been made public, according to many sources, their partnership is still running strong. 

Tissot

Swiss luxury watchmaker Tissot has been a long-time sponsor of George. Going by reports, the two joined hands some time in 2017. 

Patrón Tequila

Patrón is a brand of tequila products founded by John Paul DeJoria and Martin Crowley.

In October 2023, George shared a post on Instagram to announce the beginning of his association with Patrón Tequila. 

SCUF Gaming 

SCUF Gaming, an American company that creates unique and custom gaming controllers across various devices, roped in George as the face of its brand in October 2023. 

Play One Up

Play One Up, an esports mobile application that allows users to compete for money, roped in George as a brand ambassador in September 2023.

As per the deal, George promotes the app and its contests via social media. 

Global Poker

Launched in December 2016, Global Poker is an Australian online poker cardroom developed, owned, and operated by VGW GP Ltd.

In September 2023, the Australian company roped in George as one of the faces of its brand.

As part of the deal, Global Poker ran the “Paul George Celebrity Campaign” from September 19 to 27 in 2023, giving poker players a chance to play with the NBA star. 

TaylorMade 

George famously loves to play golf in his free time. It is still unclear, however, whether the LA Clippers shooting guard has any sort of deal in place with the golf equipment manufacturer TaylorMade, given that in June 2023 he carried out an Instagram giveaway, offering a TaylorMade golf club bag to one lucky fan. 

Past Deals 

Papa John’s 

American pizza restaurant chain Papa John’s announced signing a multi-year partnership agreement with George in May 2013, roping him in as an official brand ambassador.

Therabody 

Therabody, a wellness tech company and developer of medical devices for targeted vibration therapy and pain relief, announced the signing of a multi-year partnership deal with George in June 2020.

As a Therabody ambassador, George promoted the brand and its products via social media. 

Sun Home Saunas 

Sun Home Saunas, a manufacturer of portable at-home infrared sauna devices, roped in George as a brand ambassador in January 2022. 

Alienware 

Alienware, an American computer hardware subsidiary of Dell Technologies, announced the signing of a partnership deal with George in January 2021.

As per reports, apart from serving as its brand ambassador, George also said he’d be switching to an Alienware battle station following the deal. 

Fanatics

Fanatics, an American manufacturer and online retailer of licensed sportswear of various sports around the globe, also had a long-term partnership in place with Paul George.

It is believed that the two joined hands somewhere between 2013 and 2014. 

FanDuel 

FanDuel, an American gambling company that offers sportsbooks, daily fantasy sports, horse racing, and online casino, also had a multi-year sponsorship deal in place with the 33-year-old American. 

Dell Technologies 

Dell Technologies, as per reports, itself used to have a sponsorship deal in place with George. 

BetterHelp 

BetterHelp, a mental health platform that provides online mental health services directly to clients, roped in George as a brand ambassador in October 2022.

As per the deal, George promoted many of BetterHelp’s awareness campaigns via social media. 

Terminator: Dark Fate

In October 2019, the Terminator movie franchise roped in both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger for a “Terminator” promo.

The 60-second clip was used as promotional content ahead of the launch of the Terminator: Dark Fate movie. 

Old Spice

Old Spice, an American brand of male personal care products, signed a multi-year partnership agreement with George in April 2019, roping him in as an official brand ambassador. 

Sony

In January 2018, Japanese multinational conglomerate Sony and Nike paired up with George to create the “PG 2 PlayStation” colourway shoes.

Three years later, in May 2021, Sony and Nike teamed up with George again to create the “PG 5 PlayStation 5” colourway shoes, a custom pair of kicks styled after the PlayStation 5.

Pendleton 

Pendleton, an American textile manufacturing company based in Portland, Oregon, signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with George in 2018. 

Investments 

Tonal

Tonal, an at-home smart fitness machine company, was founded in 2015.

With initial investments from sportspersons like Serena Williams, Klay Thompson, and Tony Gonzalez, in the next round of funding in September 2020, the company received further star-power investment from Paul George alongside Stephen Curry and golfer Michelle Wie.

This US$110 million in capital also included returning investors Sapphire Sport, Shasta Ventures, Mayfield, Evolution Media, and THVC. New investors included Delta-v Capital, the Amazon Alexa Fund, and Mousse Partners. 

Impossible Foods 

Impossible Foods is a food tech company famous for its “Impossible Burger”, an entirely plant-based patty that is designed to look, taste, and even “bleed like beef”. Founded in July 2016 as a vegan substitute for beef hamburgers, the food start-up has roped in a slew of celebrities and athletes as investors over recent years.

In May 2019, according to TechCrunch, Impossible Foods’ gained new celebrity investors in Jay-Z, will.i.am, Jaden Smith, Serena Williams, Alexis Ohanian, Bill Gates, Trevor Noah, Ruby Rose, Questlove, Kal Penn, DJ Zedd, Kirk Cousins, Paul George, Jay Brown, and Phil Rosenthal.

Endemic Esports 

Paul George became a part-owner of American esports organisation Endemic Sports in 2018.
