Premier League extends MENA broadcast agreement with beIN SPORTS

The Premier League has extended its broadcast agreement with BeIN Sports for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The multi-year extension, kicking off with the 2025/26 season, will cover the following countries: Algeria, Bahrain, Chad, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen, and the UAE.

The three-year extension, set to run until the end of the 2027/28 season, will see the Qatari state–owned sports network broadcast all 380 games of each Premier League season in both English and Arabic languages. Additional programming will also be available, including magazine shows, pre- and post-match analyses, daily highlights, and weekly wrap-up programmes.

As reported by The Athletic, the extension is approximately worth £550 million.

beIN SPORTS has held the broadcast rights to the English football top flight in the MENA region since 2013.

On the beIN SPORTS extension, Paul Molnar, Chief Media Officer, Premier League, commented:

This renewal reflects our shared commitment to delivering world-class football and providing the best possible, localised viewing experience. We look forward to continuing our close collaboration on a variety of content and promotional initiatives, bringing the Premier League even closer to our passionate fans in this important region.

Mohammad Al-Subaie, Chief Executive, BeIN MENA, added:

This renewal not only signifies our enduring commitment to providing the highest quality sports content on BeIN Sports and reinforces our leading position in the MENA region, but also demonstrates the trust that the Premier League has in us.
