PUBG Nations Cup returns after two years

South Korean video game holding firm KRAFTON has announced that PUBG Nations Cup 2022 will be taking place in from June 16 to June 19, 2022, in Bangkok, Thailand. 

The tournament will feature 16 national PUBG teams competing for the ultimate glory. This will also be the first PUBG tournament with a live audience since the PUBG Global Championship in November 2019.

The tournament will follow the ‘point rule’ format, which will combine elimination points and placement points. There will be five games played every day, with a total of 20 games played on Erangel and Miramar. The team with the most points after 20 matches will be crowned as the PNC 2022 champions.

The 2022 Nations Cup will have a total prize pool of US$500,000, with teams from the United States, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia, South Korea, China, Japan, Chinese Taipei, the United Kingdom, Finland, Germany and Turkey participating. The winners will be taking home US$100,000, while the runners-up will take US$58,000 and the third-placed team will take US$50,000. 

KRAFTON has already started distributing the tickets for the event, which are available at the TRUE ICON hall in the ICONSIAM mall at Bangkok, where the tournament will be held. The hall has a capacity of 1,200 people and the tickets will be given on a first come, first served basis. 

The PUBG Nations Cup 2022 will also be livestreamed on PUBG’s official Twitch, YouTube and Facebook channels.
