Rolex teams up with Formula One for Australian Grand Prix

Formula One has announced a new partnership with Swiss watchmaker Rolex, which will see the latter become the Title Partner of the Australian Grand Prix.

Rolex, which was the Title Partner of the event between 2013 and 2020, returns and replaces Dutch brewing firm Heineken, which served as the Title Partner in 2021. The event will be now named as the  FORMULA 1 ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2023. Rolex also currently serves as a Global Partner and the Official Timekeeper and Official Timepiece of Formula One.

Arnaud Boetsch, Communications and Image Director, Rolex SA, commented:

In 2023, Rolex renews its partnership with the Australian Grand Prix, one forged a decade ago when our brand also became a Global Partner and the Official Timepiece of Formula One.

The alliance with the pinnacle of motor sport is founded on our mutual quest for precision and world-leading technology. Rolex has strong ties to host city Melbourne and is proud to return as the race’s Title Sponsor in this global sporting capital.

Andrew Westacott, CEO, Australian Grand Prix Corporation, added:

Given the brand’s previous eight-year partnership with the Australian Grand Prix, we’re thrilled to welcome Rolex back as Title Partner for the Formula One Australian Grand Prix in 2023.

Rolex has long been synonymous with Formula One, and we look forward to partnering with such an iconic brand to create incredible experiences at Albert Park.

The 2023 Australian Grand Prix will be held on April 2, 2023, at Albert Park in Melbourne.
