The Tennis Premier League (TPL) has announced a partnership expansion with Kia India, who will become the Principal Partner of all eight franchise teams following a multi-year deal. The partnership will see Kia India build on their already existing partnership with the TPL, which was signed earlier in 2026 and the Kia India logo will be present on the front of the playing jerseys of all eight teams.
Kia India will continue to work towards developing tennis in India and will focus on grassroots development with Kia supporting each team’s two-day free tennis camp in the franchises’ respective cities for players aged between 10 years and 18 years. These camps will be held by experienced tennis coaches, sports nutritionists, physiotherapists and sports psychologists and will give the youngsters a holistic and guided approach to the game.
Founded by Mrunal Jain and Kunal Thakur in 2018, the TPL is an Indian franchise tennis league which was launched to transform tennis in India. The eight current franchises taking part in the Tennis Premier League are Gurgaon Grand Slammers, Lucknow Blazers, Hyderabad Strikers, GS Delhi Aces, Gujarat Panthers, Kolkata Thunder Blades, Mumbai Royals and Rajasthan Rangers.
