Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have announced a three-year partnership with Pymble Ladies’ College, a girls’ school based in Sydney, Australia.
The partnership will see Spurs’ Football Development coach Tegan Burling host coaching clinics for the students and the wider community to support the development of the women’s game. Burling will work with the school’s head coach to include methodologies and insights from Spurs’ development teams in the coaching programme at Pymble.
Danny Mitchell, Head of Global Coaching at Tottenham Hotspur FC, said:
“Tottenham Hotspur is delighted to partner with Pymble Ladies’ College, a school that shares our deep commitment to inclusion and the development of young people. We look forward to bringing the expertise and values of our programme to Pymble’s students and to growing the game for girls both at the College and across the wider community.”
Dr Kate Hadwen, Principal of Pymble Ladies’ College, commented:
“At Pymble, we believe in actively championing women’s football and ensuring our girls and young women have access to the very best opportunities to develop and grow — not only as athletes, but as confident, capable global citizens. We are excited to provide the means for our girls to pursue excellence, to stretch themselves and to imagine what might be possible on the world stage.”
