Of course, the obvious names were taken. The likes of Kylian Mbappé and Cristiano Ronaldo were hard to leave out. There was a rather elongated discussion over whether England’s Harry Kane should make the cut.

Eventually, the Bayern Munich striker did make the list as other prominent names like Robert Lewandowski and Benjamin Šeško aren’t expected to go too far into the tournament.
