Blockchain-based fan token platform Socios.com has been announced as the official partner of the 2022 Ballon d’Or Awards.
The deal will see the 2022 Ballon d’Or Awards provide Socios.com with international brand exposure. The Socios.com branding will also be shown on signage at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, where the awards ceremony will be held, on both red carpets and on backdrops for international TV, mixed zones, press conferences as well as hospitality as part of comprehensive rights and activation plan to reach a global audience.
Commenting on the partnership, an official Socios.com statement read as follows:
“A Socios.com Fan Token holder and a guest of their choice will be able to attend the event and take up their position among football’s finest.
“This unique experience will be transformed into a cherished piece of video content to be shared on Ballon d’Or channels, recreating the ‘Golden Night’ our Fan Token holder joined football’s elite.
“We’ll also be sending an internationally recognised influencer along to join our lucky Fan Token holder and guest to chronicle the evening’s events and share via their channels.“
Alexandre Dreyfus, CEO of Socios.com, added:
“We’re delighted to partner with Ballon d’Or once again, giving us the opportunity to promote our brand at football’s most prestigious annual event.
“Millions of fans are already enjoying Socios.com and exposure on this scale allows us to present our thriving rewards and engagement community to many millions more.”
