Indian cricketers Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma have made investments in TRUZON Solar, a solar solutions provider.
The partnership sees the two recently crowned T20 world champions with Team India follow in the footsteps of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, who is already an investor in the company.
With Yadav and Varma on board, TRUZON Solar aims to gain more visibility across the country, especially in the renewable energy sector.
Charugundla Bhavani Suresh, Founder and Managing Director of TRUZON Solar, commented:
“TRUZON Solar has completed more than 17 years in the solar energy industry, and throughout this journey our primary focus has been on delivering reliable solar solutions while maintaining one of the strongest after-sales service networks in the sector. The decision by Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma to invest in our company reflects their trust in our vision and the credibility we have built in the renewable energy space.”
Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma recently won the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup on home soil. India, led by Yadav, defeated New Zealand in the final to retain the crown.
Both Yadav and Varma are set to feature together in the upcoming Indian Premier League season, representing the Mumbai Indians.
