Sponsorship Deals of Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics, an American professional basketball team based in Boston, Massachusetts, compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member club of the league’s Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. According to Forbes 2020, the team is the fifth most valuable franchise in the NBA, having an estimated $3.1 billion value.

Let us look at the team’s sponsors. 

GE – General Electric, a digital industrial company, has been associated with Boston Celtics since 2017. The company is the team’s exclusive data and analytics partner. They also became the team’s first jersey patch partners in 2017.

New Balance – New Balance Athletics is the official partner of the Boston Celtics. They sponsored the team’s official practice facility, Auerbach Center, in 2016 that was inaugurated in 2018. It is named after the late Boston Celtics President and Coach Arnold Auerbach.

Comcast – Comcast Cable, an internet and phone provider under the XFINITY brand, is associated with Boston Celtics. The company delivers wall-to-wall coverage of the team and the players.

TD Banknorth – TD Banknorth is the official bank of the Boston Celtics.

Boston Scientific Corporation – Boston Scientific and Boston Celtics sponsored the “Fit for a Cause” program this year for its employees, helping them reach their fitness goals and make a difference in the community. 

JetBlue Airways Corporation – JetBlue is the official airline of the Boston Celtics since 2016.

Optum – Optum, a care services group and Boston Celtics, launched a “Playing for Healthier” program designed to help fans make health-related choices that improve their quality of life. 

Putnam Investments – Putnam Investments, an investment management firm, has had a multi-year association with the Boston Celtics since 2015.   

Ticketmaster – Ticketmaster is the official resale marketplace for the team.

Arbella Insurance – Arbella Insurance is the official and exclusive auto insurance Company of the Boston Celtics.

New England Baptist Hospital – The Boston based New England Baptist Hospital has been associated with the Boston Celtics for thirty-three years. They are the team’s official hospital.

Jack’s Abby – Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers, based in Massachusetts, will be sponsoring the Boston Celtics from this year. They have signed a four-year deal that includes a specialty release collaboration beer, Pride and Parquet.

Vistaprint – Vistaprint, an e-commerce brand, had partnered with The Boston Celtics on behalf of the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation (BCSF). They launched the ‘Food for Heroes’ campaign. The twelve-week campaign was a community initiative to support local restaurants throughout New England.

DraftKings – DraftKings, the fantasy sports and online bookmaking company, has been associated with Boston Celtics Since 2014. This year they have signed a multi-year deal with the team for fantasy sports-related promotions. 

Flywire – Flywire became the official Team Transaction partner of the Boston Celtics in 2019. The Boston based company solves complex payment problems for businesses around the world.

NBC Sports Boston – NBC Sports Boston is the television partner of the Boston Celtics. 

98.5 The Sports Hub – 98.5 The Sports Hub is the radio partner of the Boston Celtics.

In the past, the Boston Celtics was associated with Dunkin Donuts (1996-2013), ExxonMobil (2018-2019), and Bedgear (2018-2019).
