Adelaide Strikers team up with Simba Car Hire

The Adelaide Strikers have struck a two-season partnership agreement with Simba Car Hire, an Australian vehicle rental company.

The agreement will cover both men’s and women’s Strikers teams across the 2025/26 and 2026/27 Big Bash League seasons.

As their official car hire partner, Simba Car Hire will provide transportation solutions to Strikers players and staff throughout their Big Bash League and Women’s Big Bash League campaigns.

As part of branding rights, Simba Car Hire’s logo will feature across the franchise’s digital platforms and matchday assets, as well as on the sleeve of the men’s team’s playing shirt. Co-branded marketing campaigns, exclusive fan promotions, and matchday activations at both Karen Rolton Oval and Adelaide Oval — respectively, home grounds of the Strikers’ women’s and men’s teams — are also part of the agreement.

Charlie Hodgson, CEO, South Australian Cricket Association, commented:

This new partnership between Simba Car Hire and our Men’s and Women’s Strikers teams unlocks exciting opportunities for both proudly South Australian organisations. We share a passion for creating the best possible customer experiences and connecting communities through sport. We look forward with working with Simba to bring these values to life.

Kyrene O’Neill, Operations Manager, Simba Car Hire, said:

At Simba Car Hire, we believe in more than just providing vehicles. We believe in connecting people, places, and purpose. Teaming up with the Adelaide Strikers allows us to connect with our community in an entirely new way, proudly showing that South Australian businesses can achieve great things together and take on the rest of Australia. This partnership isn’t just a sponsorship, it’s a celebration of shared values such as loyalty, passion, and community. At Simba Car Hire, we’re driving change in the car rental industry by putting people first, and teaming up with the Adelaide Strikers helps us share that mission with the state we call home.
