AFC Bournemouth renew Michael Matthews agreement

AFC Bournemouth have announced a partnership renewal with jewellery and accessories brand Michael Matthews for a further two seasons.

Michael Matthews will, therefore, continue on as the English professional football club’s Official Jeweller whilst also continuing on as their Official Corporate Supporter and Supplier. It will continue to present their in-house Player of the Month and Man of the Match awards at all home games of their senior men’s team.

Michael Matthews will also become the headline partner of added time at the Cherries home games and have digital branding presence on the scoreboard and raised-tier LED at the Vitality Stadium — home of the AFC Bournemouth senior men’s team.

Rob Mitchell, Commercial Director at AFC Bournemouth, commented:

It’s fantastic to have Michael Matthews on board for another season as we’ve enjoyed a really good relationship with them over the years. They continue to support our Man of the Match competitions, as well as now becoming our headline partner of added time. It’s great to see the sponsorship grow further as we enter into a new era at Vitality Stadium.

Matthew Corica, Director of Michael Matthews, added:

We have been thoroughly impressed with how the Club has progressed off the field – and the future on the field looks remarkably exciting! The decision to further our support was an easy one!
