FC Barcelona team up with Uber

FC Barcelona have announced a strategic partnership with global transportation giant Uber, bringing it on board as an Official Partner until 2027.

To kick off the partnership, the two have unveiled 30 limited-edition CUPRA Tavascan vehicles in Barça colours, which will be available for rides in Barcelona via the Uber app.

Implementation of pick-up zones and promotion of sustainable mobility solutions are also part of the agreement, which is aimed at improving fan mobility and traffic management around both Camp Nou and Espai Barça.

Additionally, Uber and Uber Eats will carry out various corporate and brand-related activities at Camp Nou, while also enjoying branding rights at the home ground of the Blaugrana.

Manel del Río, General Director of FC Barcelona, commented:

This agreement with Uber strengthens our commitment to innovation and collaboration with leading brands involved in transport solutions. The partnership is born out of the aim of improving fan mobility and traffic management around the new Spotify Camp Nou, taking advantage of the sustainable solutions already available in Barcelona. We want to offer our members and fans a comfortable, safe, and environmentally friendly way to travel.

Felipe Fernández Aramburu, General Director of Uber in Spain and Portugal, said:

FC Barcelona doesn’t just arouse passion, it moves the city. With this agreement, we want to do our part to make the experience of going to the stadium even better. We hope Barça fans enjoy the ride in their 100% electric CUPRA in their team’s colours.
