Nexba to provide the league with healthy beverage options.
Australian beverage company Nexba has announced its partnership with Australia’s premier T20 tournament, the KFC Big Bash League. The partnership will see Nexba promote the message of the importance of selecting healthy beverage choices.
The partnership will allow Nexba’s audience to stand a chance to win tickets to the BBL Final through contests run on the beverage firm’s media channels. Nexba will be supporting the X-Factor, its associated drinks break and the Power Surge in each innings at every game.
The collaboration is part of Nexba’s ongoing program of supporting cricket as a proud partner of National Backyard Cricket, a fund-raising initiative to support education in regional and disadvantaged communities.
Steven Palombo, Cricket Australia’s Head of Commercial, commented:
“We’re delighted to welcome Nexba to our valued family of partners this season and thank them for their support. Nexba is a brand with perfect alignment to the Big Bash – it’s a fun, fresh and healthy option for families and like the BBL is based on innovation and brave thinking.
“We look forward to seeing our fans making positive beverage choices at grounds around the country this summer.”
Steve Smyth, Nexba ANZ’s General Manager, added:
“This is a fantastic partnership and reflective of a major shift in the conscious consumption movement. Congratulations to Cricket Australia for their vision in creating healthier moments in sport, and in choosing Nexba to engage with cricket fans around Australia.
“Together with the WBBL and BBL, we want Australian families to know that it’s possible to make positive beverage choices that are all natural and completely sugar free, without any compromise on the experience we all love to enjoy.”
