Bengaluru FC of the Indian Super League (ISL) have signed a partnership agreement with sports tech innovator StepOut, roping it in as their Official Performance Analysis Partner.
The deal will have StepOut’s AI-powered ecosystem integrated into Bengaluru FC’s youth programmes, which will help the club discover more talent and offer players the right tools and platform to showcase their skills and improve their game.
Additionally, StepOut’s data analytics and performance tracking will be used by the club’s senior men’s team in order to improve their performance.
Darren Caldeira, Director of Football, Bengaluru FC, added:
“We’re excited to partner with StepOut, an organisation that helps us expand our reach and increase our talent pool at the grassroots level. Our aim has always been to develop football in the country, and this association goes a long way in achieving that. I’m sure that all our Academy Teams, Elite Teams and our BFC Soccer Schools Programme will benefit from this partnership.”
Jeet Karmakar, Co-Founder of StepOut, added:
“Partnering with Bengaluru FC is a fantastic opportunity for StepOut to enhance youth football development in India. For an academy like BFC with over 1,000 kids nationwide, StepOut will help identify hidden talents and provide BFC’s technical heads with centralised data access to monitor growth and performance remotely across the country!”
