BLAST gets new partners for final CS:GO Major

Global spirit brands Absolut Vodka, Ballantine’s Scotch Whisky and Jameson Irish Whiskey have joined as partners of the final Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) Major, which is being organised by BLAST and is scheduled to be held in Paris in May 2023.

The agreement between BLAST and Absolut Vodka and Jameson Irish is the first for the spirit brands in the field of esports. Through the partnership, the brands will work on exclusive content, including behind-the-scenes featurettes and untold stories of the players. The brands will also sponsor the Overtime Show and will work on engaging fan experiences at the tournament, fan-led watch party activations in multiple markets, digital branding, broadcast content integration to BLAST.tv’s 100+ global territory reach and social giveaways.

The Paris Major is set to be the final CS:GO Major, as Counter-Strike 2 will be launching post the event. The Major will celebrate ten years of Counter-Strike Majors and have a whopping £1.25m prize pool.

The 2023 BLAST Major held in Paris will be one of the many sporting events that will be held in France over the next couple of years, including the 2023 Rugby World Cup, the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the 2025 Rugby League World Cup.
