Esports tournament organiser BLAST has inked a new partnership deal with cinema chain Cineworld. The partnership will see Cineworld showcase the finals of the BLAST.tv Paris Major in cinemas across the world.
The partnership agreement will have Cineworld showcasing the finals in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Israel, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria.
The BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 is the final Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) Major and will be held in Paris, France, on May 21, 2023.
Alexander Lewin, VP of Distribution and Programming at BLAST, said:
“The BLAST.tv Paris Major is the pinnacle of the annual esports and competitive gaming calendar. We are delighted to team up with Cineworld to bring this unique event live to the big screen in 12 countries worldwide, and enable fans who cannot be in Paris to experience the event in the comfort of their community.“
