Brisbane Heat extend TMR agreement

Big Bash League (BBL) franchise Brisbane Heat and Queensland Cricket have extended their partnership with the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) until 2025, pledging to continue promoting the importance of following road safety rules.

The partnership, which first started in 2016, will complete a decade by the time it’s now set to conclude. TMR messaging will be present at BBL home games of the Heat, and there will be further branding activations during the Regional Tour and T20 secondary schools competition. 

The partnership extension also launched the Road Safety Cup, which will be played between the Brisbane Heat and the Sydney Thunder.

Terry Svenson, Chief Executive Officer, Queensland Cricket, said:
