Cloud9 announces partnership with Blockchain.com

Blockchain.com joins as Cloud9’s Official Global Cryptocurrency Partner.

Esports organisation Cloud9 has announced leading cryptocurrency platform Blockchain.com as its Official Global Cryptocurrency Exchange and Wallet Partner.

The multi-year partnership will see Cloud9 work with Blockchain.com to educate the esports community about financial literacy and cryptocurrency. The Blockchain.com logo will also be present on the Cloud9 jerseys, with the platform also receiving branding visibility on Cloud9’s digital channels.

A certain portion of the deal will be paid in crypto. Both parties will also create social media content aimed at educating and encouraging people to learn about cryptocurrency and investing in them.

Jack Etienne, Co-Founder and CEO, Cloud9, said:

Blockchain.com is the perfect partner for the Cloud9 team. Our team takes great pride in working closely with the most noteworthy leaders across industries and the time was ripe to broaden our network to the cryptocurrency world. Blockchain.com’s support will ensure consumers have greater access to, and understanding of, the future of finance through cryptocurrency.

Peter Smith, CEO, Blockchain.com, added:
As NFTs and digital assets begin to merge with gaming, VR, and AR, we believe that esports will be at the forefront of technology. By sponsoring Cloud9, we are venturing together toward a better, global, distributed future and couldn’t be more excited to partner with their community and organisation.

There’s a huge overlap between folks that care about gaming and folks that care about crypto. And that’s an interesting intersection because it’s about life in a digital world.”
