Durham County Cricket Club have announced a multi-year partnership agreement with Secutix, an advanced digital solutions provider for the event industry.
The partnership sees Secutix become the club’s Official Ticketing Technology Partner. The Lausanne-based company will thus look over the club’s ticketing operations.
Durham Cricket will also get full access to Secutix’s products and services, such as the S-360 SaaS platform, digital ticketing software TIXNGO, and omni-channel payment tool S-PAY.
Speaking about the Secutix deal, David Jackson, Marketing Director, Durham Cricket, said:
“I’d had first-hand experience of the platform with The Hundred and was impressed. With their strong market share in cricket and knowledge of the sport, the Secutix team understands our commercial needs and those of our fans. This partnership gives us the flexibility to adapt the ticketing platform to our requirements. We can now quickly implement the changes we want to make to ticket prices and offers, and the improved interface for ticket buyers will give fans a better service.“
David Hornby, Managing Director of Secutix Northern Europe, UK & Ireland, added:
“We’re excited to bring our leading technology to another great cricket club and give David and his team full control over their ticketing requirements. We understand cricket and are constantly evolving the platform with innovations and automation which we know will benefit the sport. This means Durham will always have the latest technologies at their disposal to create a first-class ticketing experience for their fans.“
