Betting firm GG.BET has been announced as Dota 2’s main Tier 1 event The International 2022’s Official Betting Partner of its Regional Qualifiers, Last Chance Qualifier and Group Stages.
GG.BET has signed a partnership with PGL, organiser of The International. It will be the first time in the history of The International that a betting firm will be partnering with the event. GG.BET will partner with esports influencers and brand ambassadors to create exclusive content for the tournament.
Speaking about the deal, Silviu Stroie, CEO of PGL, commented:
“We are delighted that GG.BET has become the first official betting partner for the first three stages of this year’s The International. We’ve already been able to rely on them for quite some time now and the GG.BET team has already proven just how much they bring to the table as a sponsor. It’s great to be involved with a brand that knows esports entertainment inside out, as well as what huge events such as TI entail.”
Dmitry Voshkarin, CEO of GG.BET, added:
“Becoming the first betting partner of the first three stages of this year’s The International is an incredible opportunity for GG.BET. We’ve come a long way with PGL and are delighted to take our collaboration to the next level. We will continue to organise unique shows, exciting contests, themed bonuses and prizes, and do everything else in our power to make sure every Dota 2 fan has an unforgettable time enjoying the tournament.“
For GG.BET, this won’t be the first time it’s partnering with an esports tournament, having previously been Official Partner for tournaments like PGL Antwerp 2022, PGL Arlington 2022 and PGL Stockholm 2021.
