Here is the Preview and Prediction for the game.

ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 | Match 25: Sri Lanka vs Pakistan | 15:00, October 24

With just one win, and three losses out of six matches played, Sri Lanka will be looking to end their disappointing World Cup campaign on a positive note. Whereas, Pakistan will be desperate to end their winless streak against Sri Lanka.

In two World Cup games played between these two teams, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have both won one game each.

Looking at the Sri Lankan side, in the batting department, the side will be depending on the likes of Hasini Perera, captain Chamari Athapaththu, Kavisha Dilhari, and Nilakshi de Silva to deliver the bulk of the runs.

In the previous match, Hasini Perera played a mature innings for Sri Lanka and finished the innings with the top-score of 85 runs off 99 balls. She was supported well by her captain Chamari Athapaththu who scored 46 runs off 43 balls .

In the bowling department, the side will be depending on the likes of Inoka Ranaweera, Udeshika Prabodhani, Sugandika Kumari, Malki Madara and Chamari Athapaththu to deliver timely breakthroughs.

As far as Pakistan are concerned, the batting department has been a real let down with none of their batters – except Sidra Amin (138) – scoring more than 100 runs in this edition of the Women’s World Cup.

In the bowling department, the side will be depending on the likes of Fatima Sana, Diana Baig, Sadia Iqbal, Rameen Shamim and Nashra Sandhu to deliver crucial breakthroughs.

In the previous match, the spin duo of Sadia Iqbal and Nashra Sandhu bowled well for Pakistan women and claimed three wickets apiece.

Looking at the venue, the average first innings score for Women ODIs at Premadasa in this year’s World Cup is around 245 runs. However, the weather forecast for Friday’s game is far from ideal as thundery showers are expected to take place throughout the match.

Based on current form, Sri Lanka will be favorites to win their match against Pakistan. With the likes of Hasini Perera, Chamari Athapaththu putting in excellent performances in the previous match, the team management will be hoping that the side can put in a clinical batting display against Pakistan.

Expect Sri Lanka to register a comfortable win over Pakistan.

Fantasy 11: Sidra Nawaz, Sidra Amin, Chamari Athapaththu (c), Hasini Parera (vc), Nilakshi de Silva, Kavisha Dilhari, Nashra Sandhu, Fatima Sana, Sadia Iqbal, Sugandika Kumari, Inoka Ranaweera

Venue: R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo

Winners Prediction: Sri Lanka
