Looking ahead to India’s battle against Syria

India will look to close out their group stage with a win against Syria.

The Blue Tigers still stand a chance to qualify for the Round of 16 if other results go their way. First, though, they must ensure they secure a victory against the Syrians with a healthy margin.

The fixture against Uzbekistan has taught us that conceding early can be damaging for the rest of the match. Hopefully, the team will tighten up at the back while providing enough of an attacking threat.
