The partnership is aimed to develop original experiences, content and activations that bring together football, sport, entertainment and global fan culture. The partnership was launched with the Juventus mascot Jay and WE Superstar Jey Uso, working on various co-created content. During the recently concluded WWE event, Clash in Italy, which took place in Turin, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes was given a custom-made Juventus jersey, and exclusive merchandise being sold at the arena, such as the WWE x Juventus Championship title belt.
The partnership will see both work together on a host of activities including co- branded merchandise and cross-promotional activations to crossover content, cross-promotional partner activations, creator-led storytelling and the integration of WWE and Juventus talent into key cultural moments. Additionally fan engagement activities, events and international activations will also take place with the goal of building ‘recurring cultural moments that connect football, entertainment and the next generation of fans.’
