Premier League giants Liverpool FC have announced a partnership expansion and extension with 1PointFive, a multi-solution platform for Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Sequestration (CCUS). The partnership expansion was announced with a launch of a new range of club products including a new Mighty Red teddy and a new Red Ted. The partnership also addresses the carbon footprint of the products via 1PointFive’s direct air capture technology.
Lee Dwerryhouse, Senior Vice-President of Merchandising at Liverpool FC, commented,
“We’re proud to build on our collaboration with 1PointFive through the launch of Mighty Red Teddy and Red Ted, following the success of last year’s pioneering commemorative jersey. As our retail offering continues to expand beyond kit, with a growing range of lifestyle products, accessories and collectables, partnerships like this allow us to create products that resonate with fans, strengthen their connection with LFC and support our wider commitment to exploring innovative and more sustainable retail opportunities.”
Anthony Cottone, president and general manager at 1PointFive, added,
“We’re proud to work alongside Liverpool FC as they continue to raise the bar for how organisations can empower fans to be part of the sustainability solution. Building on last year’s momentum, this collaboration showcases how integrating direct air capture solutions can deliver differentiated, best-selling product offerings while advancing sustainability goals in a measurable and verifiable way.”
