Manchester City Football Club have announced a partnership with Silentnight, a UK-based sleep brand, bringing it on board as their Official Sleep Partner.
As per the agreement, Silentnight will supply mattresses and toppers to The Medlock, an under-development Radisson Blu hotel at City’s entertainment destination. The two parties will also work on various marketing and product initiatives, which will focus on helping fans and guests enjoy a better night’s sleep.
Additionally, Silentnight branding will feature at Man City’s home ground, the Etihad Stadium, as well as across their official digital and social assets.
Kaitlyn Beale, Vice-President of Global Partnership Sales, City Football Group, commented:
“Silentnight are a trusted and well-recognised brand in the UK, who share Manchester City’s commitment to innovation to deliver the highest standards of performance. We’re delighted to welcome the brand as an Official Partner of the Club and announce its integration within The Medlock. This announcement marks another key moment for the Club’s wider development plans, as we look towards the opening of the hotel later this year.”
Ian Lambert, Chief Marketing Officer at Silentnight Group, added:
“We’re proud to be working with Manchester City at an exciting time for the Club’s development and as the importance of a good night’s sleep for mental wellbeing and physical performance becomes better understood. Those staying at The Medlock – whether for sport, music, leisure or work – will be able to rest and recharge on products designed to the very best comfort and support.”
