Brazilian esports organisation MIBR have become the first Brazilian esports team to partner with blockchain firm Socios.com. The partnership will see MIBR collaborate with Socios.com to launch their own Official Fan Token.
The partnership will see MIBR fans gain various rewards such as activation along the players, specialised content, opportunity to attend events and also a host of other rewards once they buy the fan tokens. Fans will also be able to take part in polls run by MIBR which will directly affect the organisation.
The partnership was announced through the campaign Nossa História, Nosso Futuro (Our Story, Our Future), which is aimed at increasing engagement with the fans.

Roberta Coelho, CEO of MIBR, commented:
“This partnership proves our commitment to bridging the gap between our team and our fans. We are proud to be the first esports team in Brazil to partner with Socios.com and show how fans are at the centre of a transparent ecosystem that surrounds MIBR and our decisions. There is nothing better to position fans at the centre of the club than through a Fan Token, which will allow them to play an active role in the team’s daily life and enjoy exclusive experiences.“
By partnering with Socios.com, MIBR join the likes of other esports organisations such as Natus Vincere, OG, Team Vitality, Team Heretics and Team Alliance, who have already joined hands with the blockchain firm.
