Newcastle United Football Club have announced a Saudi Arabia-focused partnership with global payments corporation Visa.
As per the agreement, in collaboration with Saudi fintech company barq, NUFC and Visa will work on providing money-can’t-buy experiences to Visa customers in the country, including “VIP matchdays at St. James’ Park [club’s home ground], meet-and-greets with Newcastle United players and legends, behind-the-scenes access, official club merchandise, and more.”
Peter Silverstone, Chief Commercial Officer at Newcastle United FC, commented:
