Orlando Magic Sponsors 2023/24

Following are the organisations serving as sponsors and brand partners to the Orlando Magic and enjoying a strong branding presence across their physical and digital assets for the 2023/24 season of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Disney

In September 2010, the Orlando Magic and Walt Disney Parks & Resorts signed a multi-year contract. The most recent extension of this partnership took place in October 2022, continuing Disney’s role as the team’s official jersey patch sponsor, which was initially agreed upon during the 2017/18 NBA season.

Advent Health 

Advent Health and the Magic have been associated for over three decades. Their partnership was last renewed in 2017. The healthcare company is theChampions of the Community (COTC) partner of the team.

In January 2021, Advent Health also bagged the naming rights for the team’s US$70m training centre.

Merrick Bank

In November 2022, the Magic and Merrick Bank announced a deal, the bank becoming the NBA team’s official credit card partner in the process.

The Orlando Magic Credit Card from Merrick Bank, thus, features The Magic’s City Edition branding and offers exclusive perks to the cardholders.

Florida Blue

In December 2021, the Magic introduced Florida Blue as one of their seven “Champions of the Community” partners as well as their official health insurance provider. 

The COTC collaboration represents a distinctive tier of businesses with a bond to the Central Florida neighbourhood. Through a range of projects, sponsorships and programmes, the Magic and Florida Blue continue their partnership to positively influence and make a difference in Orlando. 

City National Bank of Florida 

In October 2022, the Magic announced City National Bank Florida as their official bank and mortgage partner, beginning with the 2022/23 season.

Currently, City National Bank Florida also presents the starting five of the Magic on the team’s social media handles and other digital assets.

L3Harris Technologies

L3Harris Technologies, an aerospace and defence company, is the official secured communications technology provider to the Orlando Magic.

RP Funding

The Orlando Magic announced in October 2017 the appointment of RP Funding as their as well as the Amway Center’s (their home arena) official mortgage lending partner.

The partnership sees RP Funding also link up with the Magic’s G League affiliate, the Osceola Magic, as the their Founding Partner as well as the naming rights holder of their home arena (Funding Center).

PepsiCo 

PepsiCo and the Magic have been associated with each other since 1989. The partnership was last extended in 2015.

PepsiCo is also a COTC partner of the team and the Amway Center.

Insurance Office of America 

Insurance Office of America is the official insurance broker of the Orlando Magic. The multi-year partnership between the two parties was announced in August 2023.

The deal sees the two parties working together on several marketing campaigns, one of which allows Magic fans to win US$500 in credit to utilise in the Magic team shop.

Fox Sports Florida 

Sports network Fox Sports Florida is the official television partner of the Orlando Magic.

PureCycle

The Magic and PureCycle made an exclusive collaboration announcement in November 2022. Through this collaboration, PureClean assists the Magic in educating their staff and audience about sustainability.

Coppercraft Distillery 

In October 2022, Coppercraft Distillery and the Magic announced a multi-year sponsorship deal, the former becoming an Official Partner of the latter in the process.

The agreement entails that the name and brand signs of the distillery from Holland, Michigan, be displayed at several in-arena bar spots during Magic home games.

Violet Defense  

The Magic partnered with Violet Defense, a UV disinfection solutions provider, in 2019 to bring the deployment of hospital-grade UV cleaning to the NBA.

In 2021, the two parties decided to expand their partnership, which saw the instillation of new-tech Violet Defense products at the Magic’s new training facility.

Anheuser-Busch 

Having been together since 1989, the Magic and Anheuser-Busch last extended their partnership in 2019.

Drop

A relationship between the Magic and Drop, a free rewards programme, was announced in November 2021.

To celebrate the partnership, when Magic fans enrolled using the invite code “magicfriday” and attached their debit or credit card(s) before November 26, 2021, they were given US$15 worth of Drop Points as a gift.

HotelPlanner 

In November 2021, AI-powered travel technology platform HotelPlanner announced a multi-year service provider collaboration with the Orlando Magic, becoming in the process the team’s preferred hotel booking service for all their employees, including the players, executives and scouts.

Bally Sports Network

In November 2023, Bally Sports Network retained the rights to broadcast NBA matches of 15 teams, of which the Orlando Magic were one.

As part of this deal, fans can watch these teams on the network, while Bally Sports also gains visibility through the social media channels and digital assets of the Magic.

Alsco Uniforms 

Salt Lake City, Utah-based uniform workwear company Alsco Uniforms is an Official Partner of the Orlando Magic.

As part of the deal between the two parties, Alsco Uniforms’ logo features on the half-time score creatives posted during the Magic games on social media. 

SAS 

In September 2018, the Orlando Magic announced their association with Cary, North Carolina-based analytics company SAS. The partnership sees the improvement of the Magic’s digital infrastructure with the help of SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning on SAS Viya.

The deal sees SAS serve as the team’s official data management and advanced analytics provider. The two parties also work on co-branded media campaigns, compile statistical data, and ensure in-depth analyses of the team’s players and their performances.

Visit Orlando 

It was announced in October 2023 that the Orlando Magic had signed a partnership with Visit Orlando, which would see the latter serve as the presenting partner of the Magic’s international games. 

The deal also sees the two parties partake in marketing and promotional campaigns in Brazil and Mexico. The “Official Tourism Association” for Orlando also features prominently across the digital Magic assets. 

Papa John’s 

Papa John’s and the Orlando Magic have enjoyed a longstanding partnership, which sees the two parties partake in promotional activities and provide exclusive offers to the Magic fans. 

In May 2019, Papa John’s announced that it would also partner with the Orlando Magic’s affiliate of the Official NBA2K League, Magic Gaming, to undertake similar responsibilities.

leAD Lake Nona 

In March 2023, leAD Lake Nona, a globally-renowned sports and health tech investment platform announced a multi-year partnership with the Magic. 

The deal sees leAD Lake Nona serve as the Official Innovation partner to the Magic and their esports affiliate, Magic Gaming.

Take 5 Oil Change

One of the fastest oil change companies, Take 5 Oil Change also features across the digital Magic assets in its capacity as an Official Partner of the team.
