Perth Scorchers signs new partnership with AAMI

Big Bash League (BBL) franchise Perth Scorchers has announced a new multi-year partnership with insurance broker AAMI who joins the Perth Scorchers and also Western Australia as a new partner. AAMI will become Perth Scorchers’ Principal Partner for both the BBL and WBBL franchises. The partnership will see the launch of the AAMI Community Champions, a season-long recognition program celebrating the dedicated volunteers and AAMI will have prominent branding on the centre of the Scorchers playing and training kits, as well as on both collars of the team’s official media polo.

Kade Harvey, General Manager, Perth Scorchers, commented,

“We’re thrilled to welcome AAMI as Principal Partner of the Perth Scorchers, and to begin what we believe will be a highly impactful partnership over the next two years. AAMI Community Champions is a fantastic initiative which will recognise the tireless efforts of volunteers who are the backbone of community cricket across Western Australia. Our clubs, players and families rely on the dedication of these individuals every season, and through this program we’ll be able to celebrate their contribution in a meaningful way while creating unforgettable Perth Scorchers experiences. Together with AAMI, we’re proud to help shine a light on the people who make our game stronger and continue to grow the sport throughout the state.”

Mim Haysom, Executive General Manager, Brand and Customer Experience, AAMI, added,

“Cricket has an incredible ability to bring people together, whether that’s at a local club, in the backyard or at a packed stadium. Through our partnership with the Scorchers and WA Cricket, we’re looking forward to celebrating the people who make those moments possible. Volunteers are the backbone of community sport. They dedicate countless hours behind the scenes helping clubs, players and families, often without recognition, and we believe their contribution deserves to be celebrated. That’s why we’re particularly excited about the AAMI Community Champions program, which will help shine a light on the volunteers, local champions and everyday Australians making a real difference in their communities across Western Australia. We’re thrilled to support both the WBBL and BBL teams and look forward to bringing the partnership to life in ways that create memorable experiences for fans while celebrating the people who help community cricket thrive across Western Australia.”
